Last night, the team managed to get past their round one opponents to make the Western Conference Semi-Finals for the first time in seven long years. Ja Morant had a late blossoming this season averaging below 25 points per game before the all-star break and then exploding onto the scene. He averaged 27.4 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 6.7 assists per game during the regular season. He also made an appearance on the MVP ladder finishing No. 4 on the list.

The star led his team to a first-round victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves 4-2. Morant averaged 21.6 points in the series along with 10.5 assists per game. His dominance along with Desmond Bane’s scoring could work wonders against their upcoming opponents in round two.
