Analyst claims Joel Embiid should let James Harden WALK from 76ers after ‘insulting’ ignorance from front office decisions

Joel Embiid and James Harden were supposed to be the next dynamic duo of the league just as Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal. But unfortunately, nothing like that happened and now there’s a real chance of them parting ways. As the Philadelphia 76ers once again disappointingly failed to get past the second round and have even fired head coach, Doc Rivers. But that was a decision forced by James Harden and Joel Embiid wasn’t even questioned about his take.

James Harden is a real villain and now once again he’s looking to bounce off when the organization needs him and is ready to roll with him. He got Doc Rivers fired and then clowned the Philadelphia 76ers by declining his player option as he wants a 4-year extension and is rumored to join forces with Houston Rockets again. With all this drama around the Sixers, Joel Embiid is suffering the most. As he got disrespected by the franchise and betrayed by his duo. Also, his MVP season ended without a deep postseason run.

Now many around the league want Joel Embiid to force his way out or at least let James Harden walk away and bring in a new star. Analyst, Kendrick Perkins who was one of the very first guys who rooted for the duo of Joel Embiid and James Harden even before the superstars paired up, now wants it to end. As he believes Joel Embiid is just getting clowned in that situation and he deserves a lot better than what he’s being treated at the moment by the Philadelphia 76ers.

I think he deserves better than James Harden and it comes down to Harden making the decision on who the coach is gonna be. I believe Joel Embiid should still force his way out. Because here’s the thing… They didn’t even ask Joel Embiid whether he wanna keep Doc Rivers or not. That was an insult right there. Because this is your league MVP, this is your franchise guy… If I am Joel Embiid there’s no way in hell, I am trusting Daryl Morey.”

Kendrick Perkins wants Joel Embiid to pair up with Kyrie Irving

Kendrick Perkins in the same take expressed his love for the duo of Joel Embiid and Kyrie Irving over the pick-and-roll the MVP had with James Harden. The idea is good but the cap space won’t allow it to run.

However, Kendrick Perkins believes the Philadelphia 76ers do have some pieces to move and Daryl Morey knows exactly how such acquisitions are made. So he believes if Joel Embiid asks the franchise to land Kyrie Irving, they’ll give it a shot.

Kyrie Irving is a Free Agent and is already wanted by a lot many teams on the roster. Also, he won’t really prioritize joining forces with Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers at the moment. So nothing really can be said about the future of Joel Embiid and the Sixers. The New York Knicks are also eyeing Joel Embiid’s availability in case he forces his way out after the disappointing season.
