It pleased the LSU Tigers to announce that Angel Reese will be rejoining the team following a four-game absence. Before their Thursday night matchup against No. 9 Virginia Tech, Reese is expected to join the seventh-ranked Tigers. “Angel’s back,” LSU Tigers women’s basketball team coach Kim Mulkey declared at a press conference on Wednesday. Coach Mulkey did not, however, explain Reese’s absence.

She continued, “This too shall pass,” indicating Shaq’s encouragement for her.

After missing four games, she returned right away to the starting lineup and scored 19 points on Thursday night to help No. 7 LSU defeat No. 9 Virginia Tech 82-64.
