Anthony Davis slapped with grievous reality by Kendrick Perkins whilst latest foot injury
Anthony Davis and Kendrick Perkins
The Los Angeles Lakers franchise dealt a big blow after their star player Anthony Davis got injured again. However, former NBA player Kendrick Perkins had hit him with hard and fast facts about his newest foot injury. Anthony is set to be unavailable for the Lakers for almost a month.
Kendrick Perkins was talking on the latest episode of the ‘NBA Today,’ show, where he said, “I think we all have to start preparing ourselves for the rest of Anthony Davis’s career to expect that every season that he comes in, he’s going to be injured. I mean, he just has that type of body frame. It is what it is to this point. It’s not me going at him, I just think we need to accept the fact that we need to expect it.”
This is not the first time Perkins has been harsh on the LA Lakers star. He also believes that injuries follow Davis now and then. It is undoubtedly a significant setback for the Lakers franchise as they have a long way ahead in the season. Moreover, Anthony’s presence had been a big boost for them, as he won them quite a few matches earlier this season. After a miserable start, the Lakers were regrouping and had their chances to get back to winning ways and Davis was an essential part of that work-in-progress plan.
