Brittney Griner, the two-time WNBA defensive player of the year, was detained by Russian police earlier this year for possessing cartridges containing hashish oil. Davis, a three-time league leader in blocks, now holds a place in the top 50 career leaders in blocks with 1,323 of them. Since his sophomore year, Davis has been an All-Star every season till 2021. Since 2014, every time he has played more than 61 games, he has also been named to the ALL-NBA and All-Defensive Teams.
After scoring a record 52 points, Davis was awarded the 2017 NBA All-Star Game MVP. Olympic gold medalist Davis captured his first NBA title while playing with LeBron James in the Orlando “bubble” during the 2019–20 season, which was halted by the COVID–19 epidemic. His abilities and what he brings to the court each night have allowed him to succeed despite his injury problems. In 2022, he was selected for the NBA’s 75th anniversary team, and in the future, he is said to be a candidate for the Hall of Fame.

But this wasn’t the first time that Brittney Griner and Anthony Davis had been connected. There were reports of an engagement in 2013, two years before the two started dating, but Davis quickly shot those speculations down in a tweet. Davis, meanwhile, appeared to find love with someone who would allegedly transform his life. According to several reports, Anthony Davis wed Marlen, a woman he presumably began dating after his romance with Brittney Griner ended.
