The Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards revealed his top 5 NBA players of all time. The list didn’t have the names of LeBron James and Steph Curry. Edwards’ list stunned fans and people across the basketball world. Edwards mentioned some notable names who had a significant contribution in changing the dynamics of the game of basketball.

LeBron James and Steph Curry did not make the list. Fans might not appreciate the list of Edwards. This is what Anthony Edwards revealed about his top five players of all time:

Topping Edwards’ list was none other than the NBA legend who single-handedly changed the game of basketball, Michael Jordan. Jordan is known to be the greatest athlete the league has ever had. Michael Jordan is a six-time NBA champion. Jordan led the Chicago Bulls to some notable victories in the history of the NBA. It was an obvious and popular choice on Edward’s list.

Following Jordan, second on the list was the Lakers superstar late Kobe Bryant. Bryant was one step ahead of every opponent he has ever played against. Bryant, who preached “Mamba mentality,” was known for his impressive scoring skills, which led the Lakers to win many NBA championships. Third on Edwards’ list was Bryant’s partner, Shaquille O’Neal. Shaq reigned as one of the most dominating players the league had ever seen. Allen Iverson and Kevin Durant concluded Edwards’ list.

The NBA offseason had some of the major signings this year, and this includes the Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards signing a five-year deal with the franchise worth $260 million dollar in the summer. The Timberwolves management signed an extension with Edwards as they believed that he was the future of the franchise and he remained one of the best guards to be present in the current roster.

Fans and analysts had seen immense potential shown by the franchise in the last NBA season, but because of injuries, they lost their chance. However, with Anthony Edward rising to the level with the pace he is going with, The Minnesota Timberwolves can be a potential contender for the NBA Western Conference Finals and possibly for an NBA championship.

Anthony Edwards, as an NBA all-star, averaged 24.6 points per game, including 5.8 rebounds and 4.4 assists in the last NBA season. Keeping up with the same consistency, This season, Edwards averaged 25.3 points per game, including five rebounds and seven assists in three games.
