“Austin Reaves is going to cook you” – Klay Thompson gets ROASTED by NBA Twitter after disastrous Game 7 performance vs. Kings

Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry-led Golden State Warriors have advanced to the Western Conference Semifinals. After, a Game 7 blowout win against the Sacramento Kings behind a record-breaking performance of Stephen Curry. As the Chef was out there cooking and has successfully kept their season alive. Klay Thompson and the Dubs are happy and thankful to have their leader ball their way out to the second round. When many thought they’ll get an early exit.

The Sacramento Kings hosted the Golden State Warriors for Game 7 of the first-round series. And, unfortunately, the Dubs called a wrap-up for their season. As Stephen Curry personally took over the game and went on to drop a 50-point bomb, while dishing out 6 dimes and getting 8 boards. He was backed up by Klay Thompson (limited to only 16 points, 1 assist, and 5 rebounds) and Kevon Looney (21 rebounds and 11 points). The Greatest Shooter of All-Time handed out the best Game 7 performance. The Kings just disappeared with him dominating and they were left speechless watching him put the work in.

Now the Golden State Warriors will try to land themselves a real shot at the title. But on their way, they have to face the LeBron James-led Los Angeles Lakers in the second round. And, the road isn’t going to be any easy for them.  And, even Klay Thompson knows this. Talking about playing the Lakers, Klay Thompson quoted: “It’s special I mean. We have played LeBron in the Finals 4 times. Obviously, one of the greatest to ever play and Anthony Davis is you know right there as well. Played AD in the playoffs too.”

Further getting into the details and showing out his love and respect for the Los Angeles Lakers, Klay Thompson added: “Watching the last series against Memphis it looks like they are gelling and their guys know their roles… It’s going to be a huge challenge for us but we are excited to play the Lakers. I mean it’s a legendary franchise and Warriors-Lakers it’s been a long time since they have seen each other in the playoffs.”

Then talking about his links in Los Angeles, Klay Thompson quoted: “I am personally excited to get to play in front of my father, my mother, my best friends… It’s just a dream come true. I have waited for this for 12 years.” The internet though isn’t happy watching Klay Thompson be a good opponent. As they are out with trolls for everyone involved.

Twitter trolls Klay Thompson, Warriors before second-round series against the LeBron James-led Los Angeles Lakers

The series between the Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Lakers hasn’t even started. But the fans are already riding with the decade-long rivalries between the players and the franchise.  The internet though is riding with LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers as they troll Klay Thompson and the Dubs. The series is going to be super competitive and contested. As LeBron James will once again go toe-to-toe against the trio of Draymond Green, Stephen Curry, and Klay Thompson. Game 1 is scheduled for 2nd May, Tuesday at Chase Center at 10 p.m. ET.
