“Been drug tested like 6 times this season” a frustrated Ja Morant LASHES out at the NBA for repetitive drug testing

Ja Morant

Ja Morant, the star point guard for the Memphis Grizzlies, is probably the best athlete to play his position in league history. He practically levitates off the floor when skying for a dunk or chase-down block, so he can pretty much count on making one highlight play every night. The NBA has drug tested Morant frequently this season, which is one drawback to his remarkable agility

After learning that the NBA will drug test him for the seventh time during the 2022–23 season on Tuesday, Morant resorted to Twitter to criticize the league. On his Twitter handle, Morant tweeted, “been drug tested like 6 times this season  . walked in the arena & found out i got another one today” This drug test comes at a time after his sensation after his sensational dunk against the Indiana Pacers. In the third quarter of Saturday night’s game, the 23-year-one-handed old’s slam over Indiana Pacers player Jalen Smith stunned the home fans and teammates at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

At the moment, he averages 7.9 assists and 27.5 points a game. Morant finished the game against Indiana with 23 points and 10 assists for a 130-112 road victory. The Grizzlies are a force to be reckoned with in the West, going head-to-head with the Denver Nuggets. Memphis are clearly a team to watch in the playoffs with Morant leading the way.

Ja Morant recently received praise from NBA icon Shaquille O’Neal for his accomplishments this year. O’Neal claimed that the young Memphis Grizzlies standout deserves MVP attention while praising Morant’s ascent to superstardom in the NBA. In recent months, Ja Morant has drawn a lot of interest. Given the outstanding kind of basketball the Memphis Grizzlies have been playing with him on the court, that is fair.

O’Neal said, “When you talk about how hard work pays off…wasn’t no high draft pick, wasn’t really talked about in high school, but the kid can flat out play With regard to Morant, O’Neal’s remarks adopt a distinctive tack. The guard wasn’t talked about until just before his entry into the NBA, considering that Morant just began to become well-known during his time at Murray State in college.

Before, similar claims for Morant were made too soon and frequently, but now the Grizzlies star is essentially carving out his own place in the conversation. Morant has helped his team to one of the greatest records in the NBA while competing against players like Nikola Jokic and Jayson Tatum.
