“Nobody cares about your mental health or back problems” Ben Simmons gets trashed by former 4x NBA Champion over last season’s absence

Ben Simmons and his saga of controversies has hit the spotlight yet again. Ever since the off-season, it was very quite as he was pacing himself to get ready for his return. Until he made his first appearance on “The Old Man and the Three” podcast with his former teammate.
The former All-Star got candid about his arrival in Brooklyn how it feels playing alongside superstars like Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant. He was all in high spirits until the dreaded topic of his former team, the Philadelphia 76ers had been brought up. He explained the entire situation with his mental health being the biggest issue.
A former 4x NBA Champion slammed Ben Simmons based on what he had observed over the last year or so. Shaquille O’Neal commented saying, “The fact that you are sitting in your green leather, and you know, always flexing your famous girlfriend and then you Ferrari. You look fine to me.”

This is not the first time Shaq has accused the Brooklyn Nets player of lying about his mental health. At some point last season, the legend claimed that Ben Simmons was simply just embarrassed to comeback on court after what had conspired during the 2021 playoffs. But the Austrslian native had a whole other reason for his absence.
It seems as if the main issue was on how the Sixers staff treated him. He highlighted an incident that took place during a practice session when head coach Doc Rivers kicked him out of the gym facility. “I just was not in that place to play. I wasn’t, I couldn’t do it. Getting kicked out of practice that day, I actually spoke to Doc before practice and I was like, ‘Doc, I’m not ready. Mentally I’m not ready, please just understand that.'”
“I tried to let him know prior. He was like, ‘I’m gonna put you in anyway.’ I’m like, ‘Alright.’ Told me to get in, I looked at him like it was one minute into practice, and he’s like, ‘Ben get in.’ I’m like, first of all no one’s doing that. You’re doing this on purpose and that’s how I felt, too. It was like, ‘So it seems like everyone’s trying to f*** with me now.'”
