Former Indiana Pacers star guard Reggie Miller has recently shared his matter of concern and disappointment with the Nets star guard Ben Simmons as he failed to make his debut of the season in the upcoming Game 4 against the Celtics.
NBA Hall of Famer Miller has clearly stated what he believes of this situation for both Nets and Simmons. He had heavily criticized the former Sixers guard for his incompetence and lack of interest in his team who despite having a strong line-up is struggling to win a single game in round one of the postseasons. Simmons was expected to make his season debut in the fourth game of the series but he was ruled out on the decision of management.
Meanwhile, Miller’s frustration was clearly visible, when he heard about the unfortunate news of Simmons not playing Game 4. He took the things to Twitter and tweeted, “Cmon MAN!!! Out for Game 4 when it was rumored you were going to make your debut. This dude has ZERO competitive?. As small a chance as the Nets have to come back in this series, you still have KD and Kyrie, all you need is to win ONE game and take it from there.. #ManUp”

The development was not at all a surprise for anyone, as everyone knows that Simmons has not played a single game since the June of last year and if he directly gets into the crucial game like this it will be the most dangerous bait for the team. But it seems that this move has worsened his perception around the NBA and as a result, even a Hall of Famer couldn’t hold himself back from showing his disagreement with Simmons.

We can obviously say that it was bad timing for Ben, as the Nets are already down to three in the series, and if a player like him who can open a new front from defense and offense is not available, it will be a big blow for the team and Simmons is running on the same root. However, in the absence of a 6’11 points guard, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant have to hold the whole burden to bring the team back from the scratch. But things are looking impossible for them as no team as ever made a comeback from 0-3.
