The Goat Debate between Michael Jordan and LeBron James has been spoken in every barbershop and anyone related to the sport of basketball are split between the two, but the young prospect Miller gave a very interesting take on the debate.
Brandon Miller is projected to be the third overall pick in the upcoming NBA draft and s set to enter the league possessing a high ceiling given his skill on the court but when the prospect was asked to give his opinion about the Goat Debate, the Alabama forward responded with one of the rarest combinations of words a human being has ever formulated.
Brandon Miller held a media availability on Wednesday and was asked to give his take on the Goat conversation, a debate that proved to be overdone with the old heads picking Jordan and the younger generations picking LeBron as their GOAT but Miller had a rather unique take on it: “I actually don’t think LeBron is the GOAT of basketball… My GOAT of basketball is Paul George.”
With much respect and no knock-on Paul George, calling George the GOAT is a delusional take as George himself has never been to the Finals let alone win a ring and shows a deflated resume as compared to that of Michael Jordan and LeBron James who both have several All-Time NBA records under their belt.
On another note, it might also be Miller’s way of honouring Paul George as the Alabama Star had mentioned on several occasions that George is his favourite player and has built his game replicating the Clippers forward.
Brandon Miller to get PICKED second or third overall in the NBA Draft

It seems likely that Brandon Miller is going to hear Adam Silver read his name at the 2023 NBA Draft pretty early into the function but it is still not sure which pick he will end up being. The Alabama forward can either go number 2 or number 3 in the Draft depending on the Charlotte Hornets’ decision.
The Alabama forward posted an 18.8 ppg run with the college and is one of the best forwards in recent drafts but also entering the draft is Scoot Henderson, a shifty Guard from the NBA G League who is projected to be a generational type of player. The Hornets currently have the second pick, and it would be hard for the front office to pass up on a player like Scoot, but the Hornets already have a ball-dominant guard in LaMelo Ball and drafting another young guard wouldn’t make much sense.
If the Hornets so go with Scoot, the Portland Trailblazers are next in line to collect Miller. However, Miller could be heading to a much different city than Portland as the Blazers are looking to trade away their 3rd overall pick to another tanking team.
One can argue that Brandon Miller is the second-best prospect in this year’s draft and but he is likely to be picked in the top 3 with the Blazers planning to trade away their 3rd pick away, the direction Miller will be headed is still unclear.
