Among the victims of the shooting was a 16-year-old girl who was driven to the hospital by the woman in the car that was mentioned earlier. 10 individuals were taken into custody that fatal night and one admitted that the gunfire was caused by a rivalry between two groups of people. Assistant Police Chief Nicole Waldner was angered by the incident saying, “What makes people think they can just have a shootout on a public street or in an entertainment district, whether police are there or not?”

The Mayor had called for the enforcement of a night curfew on Saturdays and Sundays in Downtown Milwaukee requiring individuals of the age of 20 or young to be off the streets by 11 p.m. Game 7 will be the last chance for the Milwaukee Bucks to clinch a spot in the Eastern Conference Finals versus the Miami Heat. It indeed will be an emotional run after the fatal events that took place but will give them a chance to further defend their title worthiness.
