“Go f*ck with the Kardashians” Cam’ron brutally calls out Ben Simmons after leaving Nets flat-out against opponents

Ben Simmons has returned to the court this season after sitting out the entire previous one due to back problems and mental health challenges. That didn’t stop rapper Cam’ron to criticise him harshly on social media for his bad performance in Brooklyn’s overtime defeat to the Dallas Mavericks.
The Brooklyn Nets are off to a terrible start this year even with a strong lineup that includes Ben Simmons, Kevin Durant, and Kyrie Irving. The team is currently 1-5, and Simmons’ performances have been so poor that some people think it’s time for him to withdraw professional basketball. Rapper Cam’ron was direct in his critique of the 26-year-old Nets point guard at this time and he vented his anger at Simmons on Instagram after seeing him perform in the team’s Thursday night loss to the Mavericks.
The former No. 1 overall pick has been so bad that rapper Cam’ron called him out on Instagram, saying: “If you don’t want to f*cking play basketball, go to f*ck with the Kardashians, the Jenners, whoever the f*ck you with. I went to the game last night and I watched you shoot an airball layup.” He further added: “KD, Kyrie, I know you may not approve, this ain’t on them, this is on me. That s*t got me mad, I could suit up and get two points and six fouls.”
Dallas Mavericks hand out Ben Simmons and the Nets their 4th loss of the season

Luka Doncic scored 41 points, handed out 14 assists, and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead the Mavericks past the Brooklyn Nets 129-125 on Thursday night. Doncic collected his first triple-double of the season for the Mavericks, who also received support from Maxi Kleber (15 points) and Tim Hardaway Jr. (18 points). Doncic paired with Hardaway, Maxi Kleber, and Bullock for three-pointers that the Mavericks scored in overtime as Dallas built a nine-point lead in the extra period along the way to their first road victory of the season.
In a close game, the explosive duo of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving led the Brooklyn Nets with 37 and 39 points, respectively. Ben Simmons finished the game with seven points, eight rebounds, and four assists—tying his season high—despite missing a clear shot in the first half. The Nets ran out of steam in overtime on the second night of a back-to-back, giving Doncic and the Mavs the upper hand and resulting in their defeat, which brought Brooklyn to 1-4.

Is Cam’ron being harsh on Simmons or is he speaking facts?

Ben Simmons made his regular-season debut with the Nets, but it hasn’t been a great start as he’s fouled out in two of the team’s first six games and his stats have not been particularly spectacular. The three-time NBA All-Star is now averaging 5.6 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 6.8 assists per game while shooting just 44.4% from the floor so far in this season. Simmons is an excellent defender and playmaker, but he still struggles to find the basket consistently, avoids taking long-distance jumpers, and consistently misses easy layups.
It seems a little exaggerated to assess Simmons’ success based on just six games played with a brand-new roster, coach, and tactics. Since the Nets have fallen in their five of the team’s first six regular-season games, Simmons’ return to the floor is not going well so far and hopefully, the former Rookie of the Year can change that soon.
