“Didn’t like it!” Cavs star Kevin Love rips Team USA for throwing him under the bus

When Team USA was bound to leave for the Tokyo Olympics, Cavaliers star Kevin Love was one of the veteran scorers to be included in the side before he had a rumoured tiff with managing director Jerry Colangelo. Apparently even now Love is feeling ill of the decision and has gone all out to state his displeasure upon the same.
In a recent interview with Bleacher Report, Kevin Love got brutally honest on being snubbed from the USA Men’s Basketball Team right before Tokyo Olympics. According to the 2016 NBA Champ, he wasn’t given the respect he deserved and treated unfairly and feels it is high time to talk about it.
What was opinionated by Kevin Love?
“People that I’ve had relationships with throughout USA basketball for that long, threw me under the bus. And I didn’t like that,” Love said.
Kevin Love didn’t single out Colangelo in his statement here, but it’s not hard to read between the lines. It was also the 82-year-old business tycoon who previously said that Love’s addition to the squad was a “mistake.”
That being said, Love’s spirit would be undoubtedly high after the 2021-22 season as his young Cavaliers team made a huge statement in the entire season. Having not only qualified for the postseason, the Cavs went onto display the strength of their youth and experienced players. Guven that the team will have more time to gel-up in the offseason, it is expected that Cleveland Cavaliers could once again make huge and loud noise in the upcoming 2022-23 season.
As far as Kevin Love in concerned, he would be focusing upon once again cementing his place in the starting five. As he spent considerable amount of time on the side-lines in the regular season. Moreover, with his agility, athleticism and range not being the same as before, the vet scorer does need to put his hours in the gym to come back at his best. Or who knows, even his best form yet.
