A two-time NBA champion, Lamar Odom has faced life crises from an early age. His father struggled with heroin addiction, and tragedy struck when his mother succumbed to colon cancer when he was just 12 years old. Battling his own challenges, including cocaine addiction, Odom has transformed his experiences into a positive force by running a rehab center to assist others in need.
As reported by TMZ, Lamar, acting through his company Oxy Dental, has extended support to the formerly incarcerated Gypsy Rose Blanchard. Gypsy Rose, an American author, faced a second-degree murder conviction for the death of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, leading to a ten-year prison sentence.
In the face of a chronic illness with no cure, Gypsy Rose stumbled upon a glimmer of hope. Remarkably, Lamar Odom, touched by her story, generously offered to cover the $30,000 medical expenses. Their connection, initiated through social media, swiftly blossomed into a supportive alliance. Notably, Blanchard, after serving eight years of her ten-year sentence, was granted parole on December 28, 2023.
Speaking openly about his health struggles, cocaine addiction, and the journey to recovery, Odom referred to himself as a “walking miracle” who had “cheated death.” He candidly acknowledged that his past drug use expedited “the end of [his basketball] career,” motivating his strong desire to assist people in need.

The triangle stands out as a strategic approach to offense. At its core is the formation of a sideline triangle, orchestrated by the center positioned at the low post, the forward stationed at the wing, and the guard holding the corner. Completing the arrangement, the other guard takes position at the top of the key, and the weak-side forward assumes the weak-side high post, collectively forming the dynamic “two-man game.” The primary objective of this offense revolves around filling these five crucial spots, fostering optimal spacing between players and enabling each one to pass to four teammates.
Although the triangle offense is no longer actively employed, its historical effectiveness cannot be overlooked. The legendary coach, Phil Jackson, notably utilized this system to secure multiple championship titles during his tenure with the Chicago Bulls and the Los Angeles Lakers.
