Russell Westbrook is known for his outfits off the court. The former MVP even has an endorsement deal with True Religion, a clothing brand. Westbrook has been in talks about his outfits quite a lot of times. His pre-game fit is one to see, as he always manages to dress the best. Even in the playoffs, Russ doesn’t seem to not care about his dressing sense.
Russ’ time in Houston was a memorable one for him. Westbrook found a partner and old friend to match his style with, James Harden. The duo had fans impressed by their clothing each game night. Westbrook hasn’t failed to dress up differently, as his recent outfit caught Charles Barkley‘s eye.
Ahead of Game 5 of the Los Angeles Clippers and the Phoenix Suns series, Russell Westbrook entered the arena in a somewhat revealing outfit. The NBA Crew reacted to his fit, noticing he had only tied one button. Russ showed off his muscular chest and abdominals and had Chuck mesmerized. “If I had a body like that, I’d walk around naked.”, said Barkley. Russ’ physique is definitely well-developed and bigger compared to other guards. Though this isn’t the first time Barkley had such a reaction to Westbrook’s tunnel outfit.
Chuck started doing sit-ups after he saw Russ’ abdominals ahead of Game 4. Westbrook’s tunnel outfits have all sorts of changes. His clothing line, Honor the Gift, has some of its apparel designed by Russ himself. Not wearing anything under his jacket is Russ’ style. “It’s not a common look. It’s just not a common look you know.”, said Russ hinting at his builder physique. Apart from clothing, Russ also has his way with accessories. He has one of the unique watch and shades collections among NBA players.

Out of all the times Russ has dressed up like a designer before games, some of those outfits really stand out. Westbrook had fans on a roll when he wore a skirt. It just goes down to show Russ’ love for fashion and how he embraces the new looks. Going into games with new and unique looks every other night is not what every player does. Russell goes on to show off his outfits, designed or picked by himself.
