“Stop eating, don’t go to Krispy Kreme” Charles Barkley gets ROASTED by co-hosts for being overweight
Charles Barkley
Charles Barkley often becomes the butt of all jokes. But he also knows how equally fire back with his quick-witted character. For many years he has been a regular on sports entertainment television providing some very valuable takes and information on the NBA. He is certainly very outspoken as well.
But this characteristic of his personality has often gotten him into trouble be it with fans or his colleagues. The former 1993 NBA Most Valuable Player of the Year has never been afraid to speak his mind or share explicit and specified details about the things that take place within the sports community.
On a recent episode of the hit show NBA on TNT, Chuck was on the verge of sharing a very heartfelt moment he shared with legendary NBA coach Gregg Popovich. As started to speak saying, “Gregg Popovich, one of the greatest coaches ever, said something to me one time…” Shaquille O’Neal interrupted him asking whether Pop said, “Stop eating?… don’t go to Krispy Kreme?”
The entire panel burst out laughing while Charles Barkley had an embarrassing smile on his face. This is not the first time Shaq has gone after the Phoenix Suns legend. Even when Chuck enter the American Airlines arena during the Western Conference Finals last season, Shaq kept cracking jokes about Barkley’s weight and his falling off the horse that he rode into the stadium.
Charles Barkley’s commentary failure lands him a 10-year extension with Warner Bros
Charles Barkley was involved in a controversy regarding a deal that was being negotiated with LIV Golf. The Golf League offered Chuck to join their media team but never gave him a legitimate pitch. The legend even gave them a deadline to come up with a deal but eventually he severed ties with all negotiations.
Recently, he signed a ginormous contract with Warners Bros’ Discovery Unit as reported by Andrew Marchand of the New York Post. His new deal will grant him a total of $100 Million over the next 10 years. The organization he had signed with is the ownership group of TNT thus confirming that he will be continuing his incredible journey with them.
