Charles Barkley has always been a strong voice in the media industry and has always welcomed all sorts of controversies. So him taking a shot at Skip Bayless for a shameless tweet of his isn’t unexpected.
Recently, on NBA on TNT, the crewmates and Charles Barkley enjoyed a “Shaqtin A Fool,” segment after some good weeks. But this time Shaquille O’Neal had something special done with it. As he included his mother, Lucille O’Neal in the commercials, and Charles Barkley loved that effort of Shaq.
As starting off with some appreciation Charles Barkley went on to quote: “You know how much your mom means to me. I just want to say between the Papa John’s and The General, putting her in commercials is really awesome.” Even Shaquille O’Neal liked these words of Chuck and gave the respect back.
But since they are enemies turned into best friends and the funniest duo around the league. Shaquille O’Neal didn’t just give the respect back and specified some feelings they share between them. As Big Diesel went on to say: “She (Shaq’s mom) loves you. I don’t.”
After this, Charles Barkley got the last laugh on Shaquille O’Neal with a one-line comeback. There he also took a shot at Skip Bayless for his recent controversial tweet by bringing Shannon Sharpe into the conversation.
Charles Barkley fires a shot against Skip Bayless
The internet has already claimed Skip Bayless to be shameless after his tweet about Damar Hamlin’s situation. Charles Barkley also never liked him and even has plans to beat him up. But Shannon Sharpe was someone who was riding with him for years. But now it may all come to an end. As even Shannon looks done with him.
Shannon Sharpe was disappointed with Skip Bayless and missed the show for a day. After, that on his return during a monologue he even called out Bayless for his controversial tweet and actions but was interrupted by him. So Sharpe went on to say: “I didn’t want yesterday to get into a situation where Damar Hamlin was the issue. We should have been talking about him, and not get into your tweet.”
Further, Sharpe added: “That’s what I was gonna do. But you can’t even let me finish my opening monologue without you interrupting.” The former NFL star now probably hates his co-host at Undisputed. And, Charles Barkley correctly has correctly read that.
As responding to Shaquille O’Neal’s comments he took a shot at Skip Bayless and said: “Trust me. I’m just like Shannon (Sharpe). I know how it is to work with someone you hate.” Charles Barkley smartly got the job done and it’s not just him but many around want Skip to be out of the business as soon as possible. Because he isn’t taking his foolish tweet down and instead is backing it up on daily basis.
