“Common man, you’re better than this” Chris Paul bit*h slaps Herbert Jones in Game 4 as Pelicans level series

Chris Paul and Herbert Jones

Chris Paul has been a formidable, solid and dependable player throughout his years in the NBA. Having earned the nickname of ‘Point God’, CP3 portrays a true shadow for every basketball fanatic on how to keep yourself intact on and off the court. But not every time is it the same case. Frustration comes hand-in-hand with passion and what better stages to let your frustration out than the playoff action.

When Chris Paul, Phoenix Suns were scheduled to look horns against the New Orleans Pelicans in their first-round series, many expected the best-team in the regular season to sweep past their opponents. However, the reality has been vastly different as the Pelicans have risen from the dead to level the series 2-2. Winning the most recent Game 4, the young Pelicans not set the Smoothie King Center on fire, but broke the ice for Chris Paul as well.

Herbert Jones has been a dependable force for the newly-shaped Pelicans. Having established a strong presence on either ends of the court, he played a huge role for the home team in Game 4. While the Pelicans were busy imposing their dominance on the visiting team, Herbert Jones came up with a big steal and received a knock from Chris Paul. For which the latter was eventually handed a flagrant foul 1.

Jones’ performance in Game 4 might not result in big numbers as he managed to score only 13 points, but he also managed to register 3 blocks and 2 steals against his name. On the other hand, Chris Paul was below his standard in game 4, justifying his hard-hit on Jones.

CP3 managed to only score 4 points yet had 11 assists registered against his name. The Phoenix Suns were led by Deandre Ayton who score team-high 23 points. Jonas Valanciunas had a huge game as he paved his way through a game-winning double-double. Ingram had game-high 30 points.

That being said, all eyes will now be on Game 5 as the action heads to Phoenix. Will we witness Suns suffer even more with Booker out? Or will Chris Paul redeem himself big another big performance? Remains to be seen.
