The Los Angeles Clippers seem to be making strides before the regular season starts, they’ve made interesting signings this summer and look to bring the jinx this season, the most interesting of them being Moussa Diabate. In a game against Denver Nuggets, Diabate threw a stellar performance with the crowds going absolute nuts, however, this wasn’t enough to steer the Clippers clear of the nuggets as they suffered a heartbreaking 115-126 defeat at the hands of the nuggets. The crowd went insane after Diabate dunked on Jack White of the Nuggets, the video of him doing so has since gone viral.
As for the clippers, Norman Powell led the campaign against the Nuggets scoring 34 in the process and none of his teammates came close to scoring as much as Powell, the trio of Paul George, Kawhi Leonard, and John Wall also played the game but couldn’t contribute a lot and thus saw them lose in the game against Nuggets, despite all this the Clippers have an impressive lineup of stars who have what it takes to bring home the title this season.

Moussa Diabate’s heroics for the clippers against the Denver Nuggets
Even though Moussa Diabate only managed to score a measly 8 points for the Los Angeles Clippers, in the 15 minutes that he played, his dunk against Jack White of the Nuggets surely has registered him in anyone’s mind that saw the nail-biting thriller. In the finals, moments of the 3rd quarter Diabate received a pass from his teammate and charged towards the basket and dropped a brilliant dunk over the defender, needless to say, fans were in absolute awe of the performance they’d just witnessed, here’s the video below and the fans reaction.
Moussa Diabate was the Clippers’ lone choice in the 2022 NBA Draft, coming in at number 43. Moussa, who is only 20 years old, is more of a lengthy, raw prospect. He only played one year of collegiate basketball, but while he played in a good conference, his stats don’t stand out. Despite this, Moussa Diabate is the sole real big man on the Clippers’ roster with guaranteed contracts for the 2023 season, aside from Ivica Zubac. Even if the Clippers stick with Robert Covington and Nicolas Batum as backup centre, There will be games where one of those players is out, or while Zu is out, Moussa will likely receive less court action.
