Dennis Rodman was well known for his elite rebounding and defending. He was a core reason for the Chicago Bulls’ three-peat from 1995-1998. He was a perfect fit for the team became a major part of their history during the late 90s.
The five time NBA Champion also played a huge part with the Bad Boy Detroit Pistons. But his legendary status on the court sometimes was overshadowed by his erratic off-court behavior. He often partied, gambled with his money intensely and had his way with women. The Menace was involved with Hollywood icons as well.

Dennis Rodman says he “barely knew” Madonna despite going public
Before joining the Bulls, Dennis Rodman had a two season stint with the San Antonio Spurs. The team was neither the best nor was the favorites to win titles. Rodman along with David Robinson would end up losing in the first round of the playoffs against the Utah Jazz in 1994.
The Menace took a lot of the blame for their failures. But ironically he would had another great season earning himself a rebounding title. But it could be true that Rodman was a bit distracted as he admitted he would not listen to plays being dictated in the huddle. Maybe he mind on was Madonna?
The Grammy Award winning artist and Dennis Rodman had a very public relationship or a fling as they often portrayed it to be. Once asked in an interview, Dennis revealed, ” I mean, I didn’t know her that well. I mean, I knew her, but we talked a lot and that was about it… We got along really well and still the same, we’re friends and that’s about it.”
However discreet they were about their relationship, the couple were very intense and quirky together. Rodman also once narrated a story of Madonna wanting to have his babies. “She said, ‘Dennis, you know that I’m ovulating.’ I said, ‘What is that?’ I was trying to f*** with her, you know? I said, ‘I’ll be there in five hours… She asked me that if I got her pregnant, she’d pay me $20 million. That’s if the child was born.”
