Former NBA and Chicago Bulls player Dennis Rodman is known to be one of the most controversial players in the league. Dennis, in an interview with Oprah Winfrey back in 1996, stated the reason why he broke up with pop sensation Madonna. This whole incident related to the pop sensation is termed bizarre.
Dennis Rodman told Oprah why he broke up with the pop sensation and revealed details about his short-term relationship with Madonna. He also said they could have been great together since they had similar personalities and approaches to life, but unfortunately, things didn’t go as they wanted. He said, “If it would’ve happened [that she had my baby], it would’ve been great. There’s a system. Didn’t happen, it’s still great. Because I feel like it would have been just living hell… It would have been very difficult for me to live down being in the shadow of Madonna and having this baby and we have to like hide, and do all these crazy things that I was doing with her.” He even admitted that he ended his relationship with the singer because it was hard for him to keep up with all the stunts Madonna had to do to get some privacy.
Dennis Rodman also made some shocking revelations in an interview with ‘The Breakfast Club.’ He said, “She (Madonna) said, ‘Dennis, you know that I’m ovulating.’ I said, ‘What is that?’ I was trying to f*** with her, you know? I said, ‘I’ll be there in five hours, She asked me that if I got her pregnant, she’d pay me $20 million. That’s if the child was born.” Rodman’s relationship with the pop singer reportedly lasted about two months. In 1994, the duo was also featured in several cover magazines. Apart from Madonna, Rodman also dated Carmen Electra and Vivica A. Fox and Lakers owner Jeanie Buss.
