“Spent half of his earnings as FINES” Dennis Rodman’s wild butt spanking of a waitress costed him more than $200,000
Perhaps to Chicago Bulls legend Dennis Rodman was a notorious man, would be quite an understatement. The man whose actions were not predictable to anyone, Rodman has surely spent his time in the NBA rejuvenating more than anyone. From forming solid relations with Kim Jong Un to make guest appearances in ‘n’ number of studio shows, this legendry defender was everywhere to be seen.
However, some of Dennis Rodman’s actions had no reasoning behind it. The Worm majorly struggled with drugs, alcohol, abusive addictions and rocky relationships post his retirement, especially with the attention he commanded, it wasn’t going to easy ever. Being found often on the wrong side of the law, Rodman went onto sexually assault a waitress during a Hard Rock Cafe visit. As a result of which, like previous instances, the court ordered Dennis Rodman to pay damages to the tune of $225,000 to Sara Robinson, the waitress Rodman assaulted, in 2009.
Dennis Rodman and Sara Robinson’s court-banter
When many thought that the case involving Dennis Rodman and Sara Robinson had come to an end. For unknown reasons, in 2012, Robinson once again dragged the Chicago Bulls legend to the court. That being said, the Worm defaulted in paying Sara Robinson her court-ordered damages. Afterwards, Sara Robinson pressed the matter again. This time, her intention was to get a favorable order in Florida, which would be enforceable on Rodman. This was because Rodman was a resident of Florida, at the time. To those who are not aware, Dennis Rodman had spanked Sara while she waited on him in the particular Hard Rock Café.
On one hand, where Rodman always found himself sinking into one troublesome incident, his basketball acumen, especially in the back court managed to encourage the likes of Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan to be more aggressive on the offensive end.
While Rodman remains to be one of the most underrated payers of all-time, his image and portrayal has surely harmed his reputation in the minds of many modern-day players.
