In light of recent events, the Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker is all set to launch his new signature shoe line in collaboration with Nike. The brand is launching the all-new Nike Book 1, which will be released in the holiday season of 2023. There are a lot of colorways that are set to launch throughout the year 2024. Devin Booker’s inspiration for his new line is Retro for the new Book 1.

Booker wanted to include elements of popular shoes such as Air Force 1, Air Jordan 1, and the Blazer and put them into his new signature line. Nike has focused on performance for the new Book 1. It is said that the shoe uses Cushlon 2.0 foam in the midsole with a top-loaded Zoom Air unit in the heel. The features added by Nike have made the Phoenix star label his new signature lineup as a pair of “future classics.”

Nike aims to engineer Book 1 to provide athletes with lateral stability, cushioning, and great underfoot support, helping them enhance their performance. This was done by the team by combining the cushion 2.0 foam with an enhanced TPU sidewall to make sure athletes have a personalized experience with impressive performance and support.

Devin Booker has been in partnership with Nike since 2015, but he never had the chance to own a signature shoe line of his own. Most of the shoes that were released came in the form of Kobe Bryant’s famous shoe line. Booker, with his contract extension on the sneaker deal with Nike, is locked with the brand till 2029. Devin Booker is on board with the Phoenix Suns with a supermax contract extension that he signed in 2022 worth $214 million for four years.

Devin Booker’s signature Nike Book 1 shoes are set to hit the shelves in spring 2024. The spring season commences on March 20th, 2024. Nike has announced only one colorway, the bright orange, an ode to Booker’s Phoenix Suns. However, the superstar was spotted in a ‘Cool Grey’ variant, which will also likely release when the shoes hit the shelves in March 2024.

Nike hasn’t announced the retail price for Booker’s Book 1 signature shoe. However, industry experts suggest that buyers will have to fork out $150 to cop them. The rumored price of the Book 1 is in the same range of LeBron James’ signature shoes, which range from $150 to $250 dollars depending on the colorway.
