“She better call up LeBron” – Donald Trump’s son using VIRAL Chris Paul meme to troll political rival Nikki Haley has basketball fans in splits

The former President of the United States of America Donald Trump is currently in the running for the Republican Presidential primaries. And he has a formidable competitor within his part in Nikki Haley. Even though Trump has taken jabs at Haley, his son Donald Trump Jr. has joined in the fight by using a meme of NBA superstar Chris Paul to troll Haley. This usage of an NBA meme sent basketball fans in splits.

Donald Trump and Nikki Haley are competing to win the Republican primaries. Yesterday, Haley won the Washington D.C. Republican Primary vote. This win marked the first time a woman has won a Republican primary. It is a major win for Haley, as it shows that at least the capital state wants her over Trump. But, her win is nothing but a consolation at this stage with Trump leading the primaries 9-1. And Trump Jr. used Chris Paul’s lip-licking meme from Game 7 of the 2022 Western Conference Semi-Finals to troll Haley’s win.

In that game, the Dallas Mavericks trounced the Chris Paul-led Phoenix Suns. The Mavericks were leading by 45 points before Paul drained a three-pointer to cut the lead by three. This scenario narrated the meme captured at that moment of the game, showing Paul licking his lips after draining the three.

The meme could not have been placed in a better situation. Haley’s win in Washington D.C. is consolation, much like what Paul’s three was in that game. The Phoenix Suns lost the game 90-123 which ended their playoff hopes. Maybe Trump Jr. was indicating the same would be the end result of this Republican Presidential Primaries.

Chris Paul and the NBA as a meme for US politics

It isn’t any secret that Donald Trump is trying to get black votes by targeting the basketball world. It seems he released his gold high-top sneakers for that exact audience. Even though their intentions are public, no one envisioned Trump’s son using an NBA meme to troll his primary rival. After all, the NBA generally prefers the Democrats The Republicans generally stay away from this world.
