Mitchell, just three games old for the Cavs, was averaging 33.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, and seven assists, with 49.3 percent from the field and 42.3 percent from the three-point line.
He is sixth in the NBA’s top scorers’ rankings behind Jayson Tatum, Ja Morant, Damian Lillard, Luka Doncic, and Stephen Curry and is only a few points away from the top spot.
