Drake and 21 Savage’s “It’s All A Blur Tour” experienced another exciting night in Los Angeles. This time, Drake and NBA legend LeBron James shared a close moment in front of the audience. Drake is known for surprising fans with celebrity guest appearances.
The performance had top hits and also an element of emotion. The concert got even more thrilling when LeBron James, along with his son Bronny, made an unanticipated appearance on stage. The audience erupted in applause and cheers, showcasing their love for both the basketball superstar and the music legend.
Earlier in the evening, as he made his way through the audience, Drake showed his generous side by signing a fan’s copy of his poetry book. Aligning with the evening’s theme, Drake was spotted in Lakers colors, representing his bond with James.
The highlight of the night, however, was the emotional speech Drake dedicated to LeBron. Recalling the early days of his career in 2009, Drake spoke of LeBron’s unmatched support. “The gentleman that walked me to stage tonight is my brother,” Drake said, reflecting on the time LeBron attended his mixtape release party for “So Far Gone” in Toronto.
Drake added, “He came all the way to Toronto, Canada to support me when I was trying to figure out how to live my dreams.”
The enduring friendship between LeBron James and Drake
The bond between the duo has been showcased numerous times. A notable instance was in 2018 when Drake was a guest on LeBron James’ HBO series, “The Shop.” The episode delved deep into fatherhood, where both shared insights on raising their children.
Fast forward to 2020, Drake was seen cheering from the stands during Bronny’s high school basketball match, celebrating the young team’s victory with a proud shoutout.
LeBron’s decision to bring Bronny to Drake’s concert further solidified the strong connection between the two global icons, reminding fans of the enduring friendship they’ve nurtured over the years.
