Draymond Green has been making a point that he is not ready to call it quits on his team and that he is hungry for his fourth title. The Golden State Warriors will potentially become champions once again given that they perform in a consistent manner from here onwards. The team is looking fierce on offense led by their newly formed “big four”.

The Warriors are currently up 2-1 in the series after last night’s 30-point blowout defeating the Memphis Grizzlies. Towards the final minutes of the game, Memphis was left without their all-star point guard who suffered a knee injury after Jordan Poole had accidentally triggered a lingering issue. Ja Morant is currently being evaluated for further results.

The Dubs seemed like they had an easy win in their hands by the end of the second half of the game. However, the Grizzlies got off to a heavy start on offense before giving up on scoring. The Warriors’ comeback had them shooting 63.1% from the field, 53.1% from beyond the arc nailing 17 three-pointers on 32 attempts as well as 19 of 21 from the line.
Draymond Green helped work the defensive side of the matchup while Stephen Curry scored 30 points, 2 rebounds, and 6 assists on 7-14 shooting. Poole gathered 27 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists and Klay Thompson had 21 points and 9 rebounds. Even though things went well for the Warriors, there were a few mistakes in their especially while working with screens. Green was angered over the situation and urged his team to play better only to have Morant drain a half-court shot in their faces at the buzzer.

Draymond Green spoke on the injury saying that the issue had occurred well after both players bumped into each other. Thompson, who has been through a range of knee issues spoke on the play saying, “I’ve been through a tough knee injury, and I don’t think there’s any malicious intent from Jordan,” he said. He further added, “I don’t even think he’s strong enough to affect somebody’s knee.”
Due to prior events, Brooks was suspended for Game 3. He will be returning during Game 4 and will have to take over Morant’s place if his results are bad. The young guard finished with 34 points, 3 rebounds, and 7 assists in 36 minutes of game time. Both teams will meet again on Monday at the Chase Center, San Francisco, California.
