“He’s a moron and an idiot” Draymond Green continues to push ‘NEW MEDIA’ agenda after attacking Kendrick Perkins yet again
The Draymond Green Show Podcast
After winning an on-court battle against active NBA stars, warriors are working on off-court surges on the analysts who looked down on them. Draymond Green has always been vocal about his views and used various media to tear apart haters. He has made himself the face of “new media” since starting his podcast The Draymond Green Show, which was hardly a weekly affair for him, and has now become a strong platform to connect with the fans. He hosted the show nearly after every game in the postseasons and now that season is wrapped up, he is using it more regularly. Interestingly, there are no matches going on, so Green is using the Podcast to give some earful to the doubters.
Draymond held analysts accountable for their hot take, asked them to stand by their points, and even made fun of some of the analysts for their “poor knowledge” of the game. Former Michigan State star is leaving no analyst untouched and giving his right amount of respect.
Draymond Green taking New Media more seriously than ever
The Draymond Green Show is a multipurpose podcast that provides Draymond, one of the NBA’s most charismatic and often polarizing players, a platform to speak on the things that interest him the most. While he started the show back in Nov 2021, it quickly became a fan favorite for various reasons. His main purpose was to dissect the game for fans and further give them a better understanding of the same.
In the recent edition of the show, the four-time NBA champion started calling out Skip Bayless, Kendrick Perkins, Nick Wright, Bill Simmons, Brian Windhorst, and Cedric Maxwell for their lack of integrity when it comes to what they say on television.
As per Green, any analyst should be unbiased while working on the game, instead of focusing on taking sides that will only start drama, which people are least interested in. He uses Bayless spending the better part of the past decade trolling LeBron James as an example of how “old media” wants to tear athletes down.
The Warriors defensive player award winner says he wouldn’t want to go on TV to discuss basketball with Bayless because he knows that it would not be a serious conversation. He also said that Bayless can’t appear on The Draymond Green Show because he’s not a high-caliber guest as those he has previously featured on his podcast.
While talking about Kendrick Perkins, Green continued by going at Perkins for mimicking the style of Bayless instead of becoming a “real” analyst like JJ Redick. Perkins recently said on Redick’s podcast that he once prayed for King James to tear his ACL and also admitted that many of his hot takes are provided to him by ESPN producers.
Green tells Perkins that as a former player, he should take the time to analyze the game like Redick and CJ McCollum instead of delivering clickbait takes. Very recently he even called him “Clown” for the comments and analysis Celtics’ big man had given on the shows.
Green added Nick Wright to the list for trashing the Warriors on countless occasions while lifting up LeBron as much as he can. Nick Wright is a friend of The Volume Sports creator Colin Cowherd, who is left out of the Draymond’s analysts list. But then Draymond has shown some respect in the past to Colin’s views and takes.
As far as Draymond Green is concerned, he wishes that “old media” must stop taking sides and instead analyze the game as objectively as possible, which is a fair demand from his side.
