“Killing your culture,” Draymond Green has destroyed Warriors Dynasty with on-court behavior; claims Seth Greenberg

Draymond Green

Draymond Green‘s actions remain the subject of debate in the aftermath of his latest ejection. Many analysts and former players have criticized the actions of Green. ESPN’s Seth Greenberg became the latest one to comment about the situation. Green thought that the Golden State Warriors’ defensive ace was destroying their dynasty.

Seth Greenberg joined ESPN’s Get Up crew to discuss Draymond Green taking the blame for his actions. Greenberg had harsh words to convey about the Golden State Warriors forward.

It is a joke. Problem is he's like the boy who cried wolf. I don't really blame Draymond. I blame the organization. You can't continue to say 'alright' and put him right back into the game. You talk about the dynasty of the Golden State Warriors; it's over, it's done. Don't play the dude. He's absolutely killing your culture, your identity, and basically everything that you built.

Greenberg mentioned head coach Steve Kerr should take a stand against Green. The analyst believed enough evidence existed to suggest Green pushed the boundaries of how far his teammates would support him.

Greenberg suggested the dynasty leaders such as Stephen Curry and Kerr must set the standards going forward. He felt any more controversial conduct must remain in Green’s exile from the team. Greenberg cited Curry shedding tears upon witnessing the ejection as the major factor in his statement.

Greenberg’s argument holds merit. The Warriors remain in the 10th place and might struggle to make the playoffs this season. If such antics continue, then the Houston Rockets could snatch the 10th spot and knock Steph Curry and the team out of play-in contention. Hence, the Warriors need to sort out their ‘Draymond Green situation’ to salvage this season.

Draymond Green is causing problems for the Golden State Warriors

Once known as the true leader of the dynastical Bay Area team, Draymond Green’s name has gained a notorious reputation on the court. It all started with the punch on Jordan Poole. Green and Poole clashed during the pre-season training camp of the last season. This season, the Warriors shipped off the rising star to appease Green. Nevertheless, his antics over the last two years shows that it was only the start.

To be fair, Draymond Green is still their best defender and playmaker. However, Green’s antics have taken up the center stage as opposed to those basketball skills. The NBA has taken a stand against those antics by giving him long suspensions.

But it seems the Golden State Warriors and their leaders are yet to take that stand. Steve Kerr and Stephen Curry remain under immense pressure to keep Draymond’s antics in check. The unwanted arguments with the officials and unnecessary clashes with other players have impacted the team negatively. The Warriors have a championship window right now, and Green’s negative impact continues to be a hindrance to Stephen Curry’s fifth championship ring. Only time will tell if Kerr or Curry does the essential to benefit the team.
