Kevin Durant‘s story as a Golden State Warriors player is one of the most compelling and noteworthy, given that the player won two back-to-back championships during his time there.
However, since he departed from that super team, the question of whether the Warriors would win again has been making the rounds. And well, Draymond Green had a few words to touch on that topic.

That was the toughest one, we weren't favored, everybody was calling us too small ... and, also I told KD i'mma win when you leave here.Said Green in a recent episode of the Club 520 Podcast.
Since leaving the Warriors, questions have been asked about whether the team would return to winning ways without the services of Kevin Durant. Since then, they have reached the finals twice and won it once. While Draymond was true to his words, things weren’t the best between the pair.
Some suggested their fallout was the reason for KD’s departure with their recent matchup, which saw them meet each other again, but Dray was in a “taunting mood” aimed at Durant.
Nevertheless, both players have been on their paths of struggles and glory, and fans just hope the years ahead will bring more accolades in the future.
Kevin Durant and Draymond Green’s fallout
It’s been 5 years since Kevin Durant’s departure from the Super Warriors team, including him, Draymond Green, Stephen Curry, and Klay Thompson.
Glories were definitely short for them, as they would go on to win two back-to-back championships in 2017 and 2018. But things weren’t perfect for KD. The Golden State Warriors’ perfect, star-studded team was a sight to behold, but even with the biggest names in the game, there were a few disputes internally within the team.

And for KD, it was against Draymond Green. Both players had their differences, from training camps to even games where they were seen arguing with each other. To the point, many believed that it was their squabble that led to KD leaving such a dominant team.
Nevertheless, both have found their rhythm after their struggles and are in good form into the second half of the season. As for the beef, it is still far from over, and who knows, fans might get more stories between the two.
