Given that Rich Paul represents both LeBron and Draymond and that they are business partners, their friendship is well known.
They have been close friends for a long time, even though their hostility was much greater in the 2010s. James has a great deal of respect for Green, so the Warriors forward would have found it endearing that he reached out. In addition, Green praised fellow superstar Chris Paul, but his main gratitude went out to Stephen Curry for supporting him during a difficult period.
