LeBron James is the ‘best face of all time’ in the opinion of one of his colleagues when it comes to portraying the NBA. He has elevated to the status of a world-renowned athlete throughout his successful career.
There have been several talented NBA stars who have added excitement to the game every night. There have, however, also been certain players who have elevated the game. Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, and LeBron James are a few of these athletes. Draymond Green, the forward for the Golden State Warriors, has been outspoken about his admiration for the great player of the Los Angeles Lakers.
Draymond continued to laud LeBron for his conduct both on and off the court in an interview. He said, “I recently said he’s the greatest face the NBA has ever had. Think about the day and age we live in – cameras, social media – he’s never had a scandal. Never been arrested. Never photo’d drunk. Those things go hand in hand with durability, longevity, consistency.”
James was thrust into the public eye at an early age and has since served as a role model for basketball. He is currently not far behind Kareem Abdul Jabbar’s all-time scoring mark. Abdul-Jabbar reached this accomplishment by playing in 20 seasons between 1969 and 1989, including his final 14 with LA. James is playing in his 20th season in the league this year, which is fitting. In 19 of those seasons, James averaged at least 25 points per game, including 30.2 in 41 games this season.
