Four-time champion Draymond Green is the Golden State Warriors‘ outspoken commander. As the Warriors player refused to allow a child to score on him in Japan, he continues to show that he is one of the best defenders in the NBA today.
Draymond Green may not be the offensively most gifted player, but the Warriors wouldn’t be a dynasty without him. In a video clip, a small boy was attempting to score a jump shot against the 2017 DPOY when he couldn’t help but jokingly block the shot and understand that he shouldn’t have trusted his gut. Draymond Green showed no mercy in this situation, and he couldn’t help but smirk at his prank. After Draymond so aggressively swatted away the boy’s jumper, you could see what appeared to be the boy’s father comforting him. Draymond Green, a veteran of 10 NBA seasons, may be the ideal supporting player. In order to provide the fundamental foundation for superstar teammates like Steph Curry and Kevin Durant to succeed, he has now found success by adopting defensively, rebounding, and playmaking. Green is also rewriting the rules in regard to this offseason. This season, the Warriors’ games will be fascinating to watch as always, but less so for their opponents. However, the pressure of defending the championship this year would be greater than anything else they had possibly faced since 2016.
