The Golden State Warriors faced the Los Angeles Lakers in the opening game of the 2022-2023 NBA season. Everyone was expecting the match to be a cracker with a full-packed arena. Green got to him, and Russell made a move, stepped back, and tried shooting a 3-pt. Instead of moving on him, he let Russell shoot the basket. Westbrook couldn’t convert the shot, and Green collected the ball from one of his teammates and sprinted back to his basket.
The NBA regular season kicked off today, and the Warriors were a better side than everyone expected them to be. It was a very average performance by the Lakers team. There were many missed passes; the conversion rate was poor, and a power-packed performance by the Warriors thoroughly beat the players. The Warriors played as champions and said they were eyeing another title win.

The GSW defeated the LA Lakers 123-109 in the opening game of the NBA 2022-2023 season. The Warriors even received their championship rings in the pregame ceremony. Stephen Curry began the season with 33 points, seven assists, and six rebounds despite having a slow start. Coach Steve Kerr was beaming with happiness after pocketing the game. He said, “I’m thrilled with the win. Ring night is never an easy game and the first game of the season is usually filled with some nerves early on.”
On the other hand, James had 31 points, 14 rebounds, and eight assists, while Russell Westbrook scored 19 points and grabbed 11 rebounds after nursing a sore left hamstring. Anthony Davis added 27 points to the team’s total.
