Dwyane Wade’s wife Gabrielle Union admits feeling “entitled” to cheat on her former husband

Gabrielle Union is famously known as the wife of retired NBA player Dwyane Wade. The former basketball Player and her have had a great bond built over the last decade or so. They even raised a family together which also includes Zaya, who identifies as a transgender after coming out in 2020. The family has been and inspiration to the several others in the world.
Dwyane Wade fathered Zaire, Zaya and Xavier from his part relationships. He is currently battling against his ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches who protests against Zaya’s orientation. But the Wade family has stood strong together. Union for one is a very out-going and supportive person who has always proclaimed her love for Dwyane despite all odds.
Dwyane Wade was not Gabrielle Union’s first husband
Things are all well with Dwyane Wade and his family. The former 3x NBA Champion had several rough patches during his relationship with Gabrielle Union but managed to overcome every issue and grow stronger. Unlike this marriage, Union had troubles that reached a point of no return in her previous one with former NFL player Chris Howard. The television star sounded off about her terrible relationship with Howard on Dax Shepherd’s podcast.
Gabrielle Union admitted thay she cheated on her former athlete ex-husband because of how stale the marriage was. “I definitely was not getting wife of the year awards. In my first marriage, neither one of us felt like the marriage should get in the way of our dating,” she said. The words she continued to say were a little controversial.
Addressing the fact that she involved herself in infidelity, she said, “I just felt entitled to it as well. I was paying all the bills. Like my dad before me, whoever has the most gets to do whatever the hell they want.” She also believed that she had all the power to do whatever she wanted because Howard also was unfaithful to her, according to USA Today.
“The one thing you guys have in common is other people so why don’t you just be with other people?” Gabrielle claimed was said by her therapist at that time. It was a very messy situation which thankfully ended in the year 2006. Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union tied the knot 8 years later in 2014. Even they struggled to keep up with their busy lives, personal issues and a lot more, but their bond helped them overcome it all.
