Draymond Green once again pulled an unbelievable moment for himself and made it to the headlines. This time it wasn’t a hard foul, a flagrant one, or a technical it was just him attempting to drain a free throw so he can help his team cut the lead. But that just didn’t age well as the ball and the rim had some other plans. The Golden State Warriors had a good shot to close the western conference finals series against the Luka Doncic led Dallas Mavericks with a sweep and advance to the NBA Finals. But the Mavericks have avoided it as they force a Game 5 and keep their post-season still alive. The legendary trio of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green though still have the series well-controlled but again it’s the Slovenian All-Star point guard so the remaining games will surely be very interesting and unreal just like the former DPOY’s free-throw which got him into the headlines.

The Dallas Mavericks hosted the Golden State Warriors at American Airlines Center for Game 4 of the western conference finals. It was a very important game for both the teams and it even created a do-or-die situation for the Mavericks. But the Luka Doncic-led Dallas Mavericks survived it and got the last laugh. They established a lead early in the game and had it well-controlled which eventually won them the game. The final box score stands at 119-109 favoring the Mavericks. The Dubs though still lead the series by 3-1 and are one win away from going back to the NBA Finals. Draymond Green and his mates tried their best to close it out in Game 4 itself but it just didn’t work for them as they had a bad shooting night and the Dallas Mavericks were comparatively better. Draymond Green’s defensive end was also not able to hold down the offensive rally of the Mavs but surely slowed them down for a while.

In the game, Luka Doncic dropped 30 points, 9 assists, and 14 rebounds. While Draymond Green backing up Stephen Curry (20 points, 8 assists, and 5 rebounds) got himself 10 points, 6 assists, and 6 rebounds with a highlight-worthy moment on the free throw line which he’ll never forget.

Draymond Green was sent on the line for two free throws with six minutes and forty-six seconds remaining. He missed both his shots but the first one got stuck on the rim and had everyone amazed, shocked, stunned, and speechless too. But the Mavericks’ bench like always was hyped up watching this once-in-a-lifetime moment happen during a western conference finals game. To be honest, the ball getting stuck on the rim after so many bounces is not even a possibility. But considering the events that took place amid Game 4 at American Airlines Center from the water leak to the Mavericks bouncing back, it surely makes Draymond Green’s free-throw getting stuck on the rim look very normal.
