“We just wanted a crack at Golden State” Erik Spoelstra cannot hide his disappointment as Heat crashes out of playoffs

Stephen Curry of Golden State Warriors and Jimmy Butler of Miami Heat
Miami Heat Head Coach Erik Spoelstra desperately wanted his team to make it into the Finals and have a go at Golden State Warriors. But Miami Heat couldn’t pass the resilient challenge put up by Boston Celtics and lost the decider game 7 showdown at home.
Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum made huge contributions in the decider game as Jimmy Butler missed the long-range shot and Marcus Smart converted the decisive free throws at the end. Erik Spoelstra seemed more disappointed that Miami Heat missed the chance to make it to the NBA Finals as he wanted to test his team against Golden State Warriors. The Western Conference Champions are the team to beat now, especially for the Miami Heat who lost the regular-season series, 2-0 against the Warriors.
Draymond Green predicted Boston Celtics to win the Eastern conference in their post-game show. Miami Won game-6 after that and Miami veteran Udonis Haslem was pumped up and challenged Green. Whole Miami seemed eager to face the Warriors after that.
Erik Spoelstra, Jimmy Bulter, and Miami Heat go down the wire to fight for the Championship

Easter Conference Finals had many moments, where no one expected the final outcome of the game. Though the Celtics finished second, behind Miami Heat in the regular season, their form in the postseason made those favorites in the finals series. And so-called underdogs Miami Heat also performed their best to stretch the series till the last seconds.
Both teams won 2 games on-road and 1 game at home, keeping fans and analysts guessing for the winner of the series. Game 7 was in the FTX arena, where Miami had the best record in the regular season, but Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown capitalized on the Celtics’ strong defense and played their best offensive game as a pair.
Erik Spoelstra and his team were not also a pushover in the game. Led by Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo, Miami kept the Celtics’ total within reach and even had some impressive runs in the process. Jimmy Bulter in particular played huge minutes in the game, despite his knee inflammation issue. HE scored game-high 35 points with 9 rebounds in the game.
But finally, it was the Celtics who took the game behind Eastern conference finals MVP Jayson Tatum and important free throws from defensive player of the season, Marcus smart. Erik Spoelstra congratulated the Celtics team and heaps of praises on his team too for the efforts and competitive spirit in the game.
Over the possible match-up against Golden State Warriors, Spoelstra said, “It feels heartbreaking. We just wanted a crack at Golden State and just find out as competitors. I love this group… We’ll never know and that’s the part we’ll have to live with.”

Golden State Warriors managed to win both their encounters in the regular season against Miami Heat, and the matchup between the two would have been very interesting. But the Celtics are also a very capable team to give a tough fight to the Western Conference Champions. They also proved their championship credentials, defeating stronger teams like Brooklyn Nets (4-0) and defending champions Milwaukee Bucks (4-3). Now that they overcame the Eastern Conference’s top team, the series between the most dominant team of the decade vs promising young Celts will be intriguing.
