LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers had a rollercoaster season this year. But unfortunately, that ended without a ring. As the Los Angeles Lakers got swept by the Nikola Jokic-led Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference Finals. But the team really turned the tables as they were also once down at 2-10. And, now after the sweep where LeBron James had a historic performance, he now has scared the basketball world.
In the post-game interview, LeBron James hinted towards retirement. The game was very closely contested and head to head where Bron almost registered a 40-point triple-double. As he went on to have a 31-point half and dropped 40 points, 9 assists, and 10 rebounds. But after getting swept at 111-113 when he was questioned about his future, LeBron James went on to quote: “Just personally, with me moving forward with the game of basketball, I got a lot to think about.”
Even Chris Haynes reported the same story and breaking down LeBron James’ future in a report he wrote: “Lakers star LeBron James is uncertain if he’ll be with the team when the 2023-24 season starts in the fall, and retirement is under consideration, league sources tell Bleacher Report, TNT,”
LeBron James is already the GOAT and that’s how it will be forever. But still, him retiring isn’t acceptable to the fans who love him unconditionally. And, Brian Windhorst believes he is going to extend his retirement plans. As he wants to hoop with his son, Bronny.

Brian Windhorst’s take on LeBron James considering retirement
Brian Windhorst sitting alongside the crew at ESPN’s “Get Up,” discusses the rumors around LeBron James hanging the gloves. He started his take with explaining how he has been with many players who were in the same position as Bron was last night and how there are two results for it.
Further, discussing the situation around LeBron James, Brian Windhorst quoted: “I do think he really, really, really, really wants to play with Bronny. So I think that’s gonna Trump everything. I think he’s gonna set himself up to do that. I also think he’s exhausted and tired. He played one for the great halves of his playoff career yesterday in the first half… That is him facing his mortality.”
Bronny can really be the reason which can have LeBron James locked in for some more years. Many also believe he hinted towards a trade with his words and nothing can be said about that. And, only LeBron James knows what’s actually cooking. Also, one day he’ll really hang the gloves and call it an end but the basketball world wishes to never see that particular day. As for the modern era he has always been around and ruled the league.
