‘FAKE’ Klay Thompson fools security to shoot throws before Game 5 only to get himself BANNED for life
Klay Thompson and his doppelganger
Klay Thompson is undoubtedly one of the most popular players/athletes in San Francisco. Not only is he a core member of Steve Kerr’s Golden State Warriors, but his importance is the finale showdown is unparallel. The same was thought by a security personnel, working at Chase Center as he allowed Klay’s doppelganger to shoot some throws before the Game 5 action between Warriors vs Celtics.
The spoken off ‘Fake’ Klay Thompson was no one else but famous Youtuber Dawson Gurley who has made a name for himself by clowning the Golden State marquee. However, with the stakes being ever so high in Game 5 at Chase Center, Gurley went onto fool a security guard, in order to shoot some shots. As a result of which, he now has got himself banned for life.

Klay Thompson’s doppelganger Dawson Gurley lands himself into trouble
Gauley revealed in his tweet, “Banned because I walked pass 5 layers of security guards (who willingly let me through security without asking for ID) & shot around on the court for 10 minutes. I also spent 10K on tickets which they are not refunding. Why should I be banned because their security is incompetent?”
On Monday night before game 5 of the 2022 NBA Finals, Gurley revealed that he got banned for life from the Chase Center after he fooled security into thinking he was Klay Thompson and was able to walk on the court to shoot some hoops with the team.
While many would imagine that Gauley’s $10k on tickets were an absolute waste, the spoken off personnel was more than happy to enjoy his life as a 10-minute NBA player. An experience which he surely won’t forget for the rest of his life.
On the other hand, talking about the performance of Warriors’ splash brother, he did turn up big when Stephen Curry could not inspire the team. Although majority of the headlines were secured by Andrew Wiggins who dropped 26 points. Yet Thompson’s 21 points were the second highest for the team as the Warriors finally took top honors in the 2022 NBA Finals.
With the chance of winning another championship, will Klay Thompson be able to once again seize the headline as we approach Game 6. Millions around the globe will be keen to watch out for that.
