“Someone please call the police or animal control” – NBA Fans call out for animal cruelty spotting dog dyed as PIKACHU sitting courtside during Jazz vs. Bulls game
Pokemon dog in Utah Jazz vs Bulls game
One of the biggest sporting events in the world is an NBA game. Millions of spectators watch the sport online from their homes all over the world. In addition, spectators dress to impress and occasionally bring their pets with them to the arena. Similar to that, a fan brought his South Florida Pomeranian with a unique tribute to Pokémon in a Utah Jazz game. The dog immediately caught global notice, and finally, became an internet phenomenon. The NBA is furious right now because the dog owner dyed his Pomeranian to look like Pikachu.
At the Jazz–Bulls game on Saturday, a little dog that had been painted and styled to resemble Pikachu from the Pokémon games was seen sitting courtside. On Saturday, January 7, at the United Center in Chicago, the Bulls hosted the Jazz. During the game, a fan sitting courtside was seen clutching a dog dyed as the well-known Pokémon. While he gained a lot of attention, he also attracted trouble and now is fined for his actions for doing so.
Due to the dog’s fur being dyed, the owner was fined but is protecting his case. It’s made NBA history because a Pikachu dog has never been seen sitting next to an NBA player before, according to the dog’s owner, Erik Torres, reported by NBC Miami. Additionally, the report stated that it is forbidden to own any dye-colored animals in the county. Fans though were quick to call Erik and his actions out. You can find some of those reactions here below:
Zsa Zsa, the pikachu dog was dyed in California and not Florida said Erik Torres. He also claimed to not be aware of his unlawful actions. Torres though mentioned how the Pikachu Dog was safely dyed after researching well. Interestingly, Torres is a puppy store owner and his store has been on the radar even before Zsa Zsa, the pikachu dog got viral.
Chicago Bulls beat Utah Jazz in presence of Pikachu Dog, Zsa Zsa
The Chicago Bulls defeated the Utah Jazz 126-118 on Saturday night thanks to 36 points from Zach LaVine, 35 from DeMar DeRozan, and three straight 3-pointers he made during a crucial fourth-quarter stretch.
Lauri Markkanen, the former Bulls player, led the Jazz with 28 points, and Ochai Agbaji added 19. With 7:32 remaining and the Bulls behind 99-92, they launched on an 11-2 run. That was sparked by two 3-pointers from Patrick Williams and a layup by 6-foot guard Coby White over the 7-foot Markkanen. Utah gained ground during a 40-point third quarter in which Markkanen dunked over Vucevic, but most of that momentum was halted by the Bulls’ comeback.
The Jazz right now are 20-2e and the 11th seed in the West at the halfway point of the season. The Bulls’ first half of the season has been underwhelming; they are currently 19-22 and the 10th seed in the East. They have, however, won six of their previous nine games, including a victory over the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday night.
