“Ant detonated didn’t he?” – Fans go ballistic as Anthony Edwards rises up for a MONSTROUS windmill dunk against Bulls

Anthony Edwards

Anthony Edwards is quite definitely one of the most electrifying players in the league aside from Ja Morant, Luka Doncic and Zion Williamson. However, perhaps no one is better than the Timberwolves’ star in the transition. Edwards set the Target Center ablaze during the Minnesota Timberwolves game against the Chicago Bulls. The Ant-Man put on a show in Timberwolves’ 150-126 home victory over the Bulls.

As if the blowout win wasn’t enough for Anthony he decided to give his fans a night to remember and the Bulls a night to forget. With Timberwolves leading by as much as 17 points with less than 3 minutes left in the 4th quarter, Edwards threw a thunderous dunk and killed the Bulls’ hope for a comeback.

After a missed 3-point shot from Bulls’ Dosunmu from the left corner, the Timberwolves took the rebound the pushed the ball forward for a transition basket. The Timberwolves star Jaden McDaniels found Edwards pacing ahead of him and passed the ball. Seeing an opportunity for a possible highlight, Edwards took one dribble and made a windmill dunk for an exclamation point.
