“He’s 37 playing like 27” – Fans in awe as LeBron James throws down a massive dunk against Sacramento Kings

LeBron James

LeBron James will be 38 next week and the Los Angeles Lakers star is nowhere near aging, how NBA players usually do. The 4 x MVP just keeps going every season, while we wait in fear to see when he slows down. James threw down a monster dunk against the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday making the fans go berserk in excitement.

With 1.43 left on the clock in the 2nd quarter, Thomas Bryant stole the ball from the Sacramento Kings. Bryant passed the ball to running LeBron in the transition behind two Kings players. 4 x NBA champions took three dribbles and hammered the ball over two players. It was still exciting for James to throw a statement dunk as the score became 54-58.

However, the Lakers lost the game to the Kings by 120-134. The Lakers led the game at the end of the first quarter by just one point, but the game took a U-turn in 2nd and third quarters. Sacramento Kings outscored the Lakers by 21 points. It was the Lakers’ 18th loss of the season as they slipped to the 13th spot in the Western Conference.

NBA fans were beyond impressed with LeBron’s monster dunk. They heaped praise on James as he continues to defy the age barrier. One of the fans wrote, “Best player ever. I don’t care what nobody say.” Another fan alluded to the fact that he was doing this in the 20th season of his career and wrote, “Year 20… This is literally… Goat things.”

LeBron Scored 31 points in the loss against the Kings and it was his 5th consecutive game with 30 or more points. “I’m going to show up to work and be ready to go,” James said. “I’m going to lead the guys on the floor when I’m on the floor.” All the Lakers’ starters scored in double digits, but unfortunately, it was not enough to get a win.

The Lakers were playing without their star player Anthony Davis who is out with a foot injury. Davis has been sidelined with the injury for at least a month that he suffered against the Denver Nuggets. If Davis doesn’t return to the lineup in the proper timeline, the Lakers’ chance of making the playoffs is highly improbable.
