Anthony Edwards is back in the NBA headlines as he once again shocked the basketball world with his unreal bounce and godlike athleticism. Recently, the Minnesota Timberwolves hosted the Los Angeles Lakers at Target Center and handed them their fifth straight loss. The game was closely contested and head-to-head for the first half. But the Minnesota Timberwolves being the better team just took over the game and won it all. Rudy Gobert got his revenge against the Lakers with a phenomenal performance. As he was backed by Anthony Edwards and Karl Anthony Towns.

Rudy Gobert dropped 22 points, 2 assists and 21 rebounds. He was backed by KAT (21 points, 7 assists and 8 rebounds). And, Anthony Edwards took care of the offensive end while being the scoring leader of the game as he contributed with 29 points, 2 assists and 4 rebounds and also a steal.

The Lakers though missed on Anthony Davis due to a back injury and had Russell Westbrook (18 points, 3 assists and 8 rebounds) coming off the bench. While Bron who tried to do it all got 28 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists with 4 steals.

Anthony Edwards though was the star of the game as he got himself a tape while destroying the Lakers, especially Russell Westbrook. As Edwards met him up in the air and violated him by disrespecting his shot. But like always Ant-Man was unfortunate and even this masterpiece of his didn’t get counted as the officials ruined it once again.

With around seventeen seconds remaining for the game to end. Russell Westbrook clowned Rudy Gobert and drove in to attack the rim. But Anthony Edwards did a great job of protecting the rim. As he didn’t just block Brodie’s shot but also snatched the ball away from his hands while being mid-air. This is something not many in the league can do.

The block by Anthony Edwards appeared pretty clean and clear to many around. But the officials called a foul on Ant-Man and didn’t count it. This had Russell shooting two free-throws and he made one of them. But the decision looks very unfair as fans believe it’s clean and should be counted as a block.
