“I can’t tell if Kevin is a kid or grown man,” Fans react to Joel Embiid RUTHLESSLY trolling Kevin Hart with a ‘father-son’ joke to mock his height
Kevin Hart is a well known comedian and so is Joel Embiid. The 76ers star trolled the Jumanji star on social media while calling him his son, for his small height.
Joel Embiid and Kevin Hart
Joel Embiid and Kevin Hart who live in Philadelphia, were both at the NFC championship game between the Eagles and the 49ers tonight. The 76ers star poked fun at Hart online before an NFL game. The giant enormous Philadelphia 76ers center shared a picture of himself on social media with Kevin and billionaire Michael Rubin. When compared to Embiid, who is listed at 7 feet, the Ride Along movie actor is about 5-foot-2-inches tall. Standing next to the comedian, who has frequently been the focus of jokes about his height, was a behemoth who is running for NBA MVP.
Joel Embiid posted a picture of him and Kevin on his social media account, which also had Rubin in the frame. However, the reigning NBA scoring leader took exception to Hart and called him his son. Posting the picture, Embiid wrote in the caption, “Father and Son watching a Super Bowl berth LOL.” While this is not the first time the actor and comedian have been trolled for his height, Embiid, being a troll, certainly knew how to best do it.
Hart and Embiid weren’t the only famous people in attendance; James Harden, Tyrese Maxey, and PJ Tucker were all 76ers players who saw the Eagles’ D-line destroy the San Francisco 49ers’ O-line. Funny enough, as his colleagues were rejoicing the Eagles’ victory, Harden, a supporter of the San Francisco 49ers, took to social media to show his disappointment at his team’s defeat.
Fans troll Kevin Hart after Joel Embiid’s post mocking his height
In the player and media polls, the 28-year-old basketball star was ranked third among East frontcourt players, but he finished fourth in the public voting. Compared to Tatum’s 5,221,720, he received 4,900,482 votes from the fans. The five times NBA All-Star was placed fourth overall among fans, media, and players. As a result, Jayson Tatum, Kevin Durant, and Giannis Antetokounmpo finished ahead of Embiid. Previously, LeBron James and Giannis had been selected as the All-Star captains for their respective conferences.
Fans got behind Joel Embiid in trolling the Hollywood star and doubled down on him, while they hilariously trolled him. Calling Hart a kid one of the fans wrote, “I can’t tell if Kevin is a kid or grown man.” Alluding to his best friends in LA, the other fan wrote, “Kevin really likes to hang with twice his size, shaq, joel, therock.” Here are some of the best fans’ reactions on Twitter.
A player like Embiid, who has been averaging well over 30 points in the season and is one of the leading candidates for MVP this season, generally, doesn’t miss the starting spot in All-Star games. However, the due to the scheme of voting, he missed the starting lineup with other players. So far into the season, he has been averaging 33.8 points and 10 rebounds a game. He has also been shooting over 52% from the field and almost 36% from beyond the arc.
