“Played with no damn heart” NBA Fans reacts as Kevin Durant shows no sportsmanship to Celtics after painful Game 3 loss

Brooklyn Nets star forward Kevin Durant showed no respect to his opponents as he went straight to the locker room without shaking hands with the Celtics player after losing Game 3 of round one by 109-103 on Saturday night.

In this whole series, the Celtics’ master plan to stop the two-time NBA champion from scoring has brought them the lead of 3-0 in the series and it seems that KD in frustration has started giving up his hope to win this series or to run for a deep postseason. This season for the Brooklyn Nets started with a lot of expectation as two players Durant and Irving in their prime teamed up to bring the glory to the Nets.

However, things haven’t gone according to their plans, the Nets struggled during the mid of the regular season but somehow managed to qualify for the playoffs but in the postseason a team can only move forward when it truly has the potential to consistently win. In Game 3 Kevin Durant’s image totally changed from snipper to the person who was wandering in the wilderness, but instead of accepting his mistakes done in the game he disrespected the game by ignoring the handshake with the Celtics players and left the court.

Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant is on brink of being swept through self-inflicted failure

The Nets’ failure in Game 3 has a lot of things to understand, but the reason which affected them most is the inefficient and uneasy gameplay by their star power forward Kevin Durant. He scored only 16 points, 8 rebounds, and 8 assists in this crucial game. in this whole game, he took a lot of defensive stands and only attempted six successful shots from 11 field goals and two three-pointers out of 3 attempts.

When the most talented player on the team performed like this it was obvious that the Nets would struggle in the game. But it seems that Durant understands this and confessed it during the postgame interview. He said, “I probably should’ve took more shots, but I tried to play the game the right way without being too aggressive. I’m just thinking too much this whole series, to be honest.”

Durant added, “We know what it is, I don’t think no speech or anything will do at this part of the year. You know what it is. We’re down 3-0. We got another game on Monday. Just come out and play.”

The Nets are now down by three in the series and no team in history has ever overcome this type of scenario but can the Nets rebound in the series and win it, as Ben Simmons might make his debut during game 4 of the round one series.
