“Doesn’t he hate the homeless?” – NBA fans SLAM Stephen Curry on winning Social Justice Champion Award

Stephen Curry has made his way back to the NBA headlines. As the league just announced him as the winner of the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Social Justice Champion Award. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar has done a lot for the community, especially for the black community and most of his life has fought for social justice and equality while trying to push off the bad elements of the society. And, he still continues to do so and Stephen Curry bagging the award means he’s been on the same path this year.

Stephen Curry is a good kind guy and many around the league agree with it. His greats aren’t just limited to the basketball court where the Chef cooks all his opponents drilling nothing but net from deep. But Stephen Curry also has an impact off-the-court where his kind gesture and care for the communities and the needy ones are seen.

Many are happy for Stephen Curry winning the award and decorating his resume with another off-the-court accolade. But on the other hand, fans are calling out the league for not doing justice with the award. As they point out Stephen Curry’s opposition to 16 townhouses being behind his yard. Stephen Curry though is still shining brightly over the hate. His reason for the opposition was understandable as it concerned his privacy and safety. Now, the Chef and the Warrior should be focused on the offseason and try their best to improve and get better. As they’ll have to make some tough roster and front-office decisions in the coming months.
