Kyrie Irving is again making strides on social media; this time, it’s not because of another controversy. The Dallas Mavericks star was seen showing off his new haircut on social media, which has fans drawing comparisons between his haircut and that of his former Brooklyn Nets teammate, Spencer Dinwiddie, one of the players he was traded for.
Dinwiddie, who was Irving’s teammate during the 2019-20 season, has sported the goatee for a long time. While he and Irving didn’t share much time on the court together, the similarities between their haircuts are uncanny. Spencer, who was traded from Brooklyn to Washington, has ended up back in Brooklyn again after being sold fo Irving, which brought him to Dallas.
Both players haven’t seen much success following the trade. Irving and Dallas didn’t make it to the playoffs, while on the other hand, Dinwiddie and the Nets were eliminated in the first round by the Philadelphia 76ers.

Whenever news about Kyrie Irving surfaces, NBA fans quickly troll the Dallas superstar. This time, when Irving shared a new haircut on social media, everyone pointed out the similarity between Kyrie’s new haircut and Spencer Dinwiddie’s and trolled Kyrie for it.
Here are some of the reactions from X (formerly Twitter):
With the hefty contract Iriving signed this offseason, which locks him up with Dallas for the next three seasons, expectations for him will be higher than ever. He and Luka Doncic are two of the best offensive players in the league, and with the additions of new players like Grant Williams and Richaun Holmes, they will be expected to make a deep playoff run next season.
