“Flickers from time to time” – Snoop Dogg believes Anthony Davis can MAKE OR BREAK Lakers’ chances of winning against Warriors

Anthony Davis and Snoop Dogg

Snoop Dogg has made his way back to the NBA headlines. The reason this time is his take on Anthony Davis and the Los Angeles Lakers. As they face the Stephen Curry-led Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference Semifinals. But this time Snoop Dogg isn’t beefing with Anthony Davis for being injured or not living up to the expectations. But this time he’s riding with AD and want him to keep balling out. As he is full of hopes for the Lakers to win the championship. Just an honest, die-hard Lakers fan the American rapper is.

Anthony Davis played a major role in the Los Angeles Lakers Game 1 win against the Golden State Warriors. He did a little bit of everything in the game, while his guys backed him up throughout the four quarters. In Game 1 suiting up for 44 minutes, Anthony Davis dropped 30 points, got 23 boards, dished out 5 dimes, and recorded 4 highlight-worthy blocks. He was backed up by LeBron James who chipped in 22 points and 11 rebounds. The Lakers got the dub at 117-112.

Anthony Davis gets the most credit for it and if the Lakers want to stay on the winning end and advance further. AD will have to keep balling out and live up to the expectations of the Lakers Nation and, especially, Snoop Dogg. As the rapper really believes in him and has already made a loud statement for the team with a special mention of Anthony Davis.

As recently Snoop Dogg appeared on “Undisputed” and sitting alongside Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless he described his learnings from Game 1. While doing so he went on to say: “We’re better than people thought we were. And if AD does what he does. We kinda like win a championship, for real like it feels like that.” Further, he appreciated the other key pieces of the team for getting the thing done whenever needed by HC Darwin Ham. His words for Anthony Davis are very correct and that’s not all. As he also knows how to keep AD’s light on.

It’s very necessary for Anthony Davis to live up to the expectations and get the job done, for the Lakers to advance ahead. Even Snoop Dogg knows this and while discussing Anthony Davis and his importance with Shannon Sharpe, he went on to quote: “Can he keep the light on like he did in Game 1? Because it flickers from time to time. We wanna see it stay on because if it stays on we gonna be alright.”

When Skip Bayless asked him the direct questions of his way to get that done, or even have AD motivated so the light stays on. Snoop Dogg quoted: “I would have to figure out what it is… What’s his trigger? I think LeBron knows it. Because he always gets at him at a certain point.”

So it’s necessary for LeBron James, Lakers to find the trigger for Anthony Davis to keep him going. As Stephen Curry would try to get his revenge with a big dub in Game 2 against the Los Angeles Lakers. Game 2 is scheduled for Thursday, May 4 at 9 p.m. ET/ 6 p.m. PT.
