NBA Hall of Famer Kevin Garnett is assured that Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum will take home the MVP award this season. Kevin also explained why he wants to see more from the Boston Celtics team before he considers them as one of the top 4 teams in the Eastern Conference in the 2022-2023 season. Garnett has previously led the Boston Celtics to a title win in 2008.

Kevin Garnett recently posted a video of his latest ‘Showtime’ program on his Twitter handle where he quoted, “Jayson Tatum for MVP, he’s playing unbelievable. Everything I had a question mark with Boston, they’ve taken that and kicked it out the window. We knew Jayson Tatum could score with the best, but I see this year, he’s taken another step. In the last four or five games, I’ve seen his defensive efforts to be a lot greater than what I’ve seen.”

Kevin added, “He seems to be a lot more locked in on both ends, and he’s playing like a top-five player. He’s popcorn basketball, you pay to go see Ja (Morant), Luka (Doncic). JT is in that same category. He’s coming into his own, he’s coming into his young stardom; I love everything about his play, and everything he’s doing right now. His growth to me is how the Boston Celtics are going to grow and grow.”

The Celtics star Jayson Tatum has lit the NBA world with his fiery game plays and his jaw-dropping performance against the Detroit Pistons took his team over the line 117-108. Jayson nailed 43 points on 14-of-28 shooting, ten rebounds and three assists in 41 minutes he played on the court. Of 43, 28 points came in the second half as he led the charge at the Little Caesars Arena.

Celtics’ Jaylen Brown, Al Horford and Malcolm Brogdon were out with injuries. It was Tatum’s determination that led them to a victory. He is averaging 36.7 points for the past four games and in the last match, he also made 7 of 15 3-point attempts. Jayson’s red-hot form has helped the Celtics put up a second-best performance in the current NBA season (10-3).

Tatum now leads the NBA in scoring with 420 total points, 23 ahead of Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant who is placed second. He scored 30-plus points in eight of the team’s 12 games. The Pistons looked rusty as Bojan Bogdanovic scored 28 points. This was Detroit’s eleventh loss of the season out of fourteen games. They face the Toronto Raptors next, and the Celtics play the Oklahoma City Thunder.
